Dodworth & Stauffer Art Appraisal is pleased to offer our clients professional appraisal, cataloging, curating and design services. Our clients include individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations.

APPRAISALS

Our appraisals are prepared in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers. 

As a client, you will receive a written, objective third party report, including images, descriptions, information on each artist and his or her market, and, of course, our estimates of current value. We have over thirty years' experience in preparing estate and charitable gift appraisals that meet or exceed the requirements of the I.R.S. With extensive research experience and reliable resources, we can help you identify an artist, provide biographical information and research the provenance of your objects. We can also track historical market value and current trends.

COLLECTION CURATING AND DESIGN

We offer curation and design of your artwork in your home and/or business. We are pleased to work with and advise you to identify the most ideal locations for and placement of your artwork. Whether you just moved, remodeled or repainted your home or business, the result of our expertise will be a cohesive arrangement that will make your space come alive.

CATALOGING

With combined decades of museum experience, we are familiar with current standards of museum registration practice. Our cataloging service includes thorough identification, condition assessment, and conservation recommendations. Comprehensive reports are prepared according to your specific needs.

REFERRALS

Although we know a lot, we don't know everything. When we encounter an object that requires a specialized professional, we will consult a third party or simply refer you to an expert or specialist who can better address your needs.
